Family Signup Tool (FST)

This feature is frequently referred to as "online" enrollment. Parents will have the ability to submit a "signup" to their school (usually an application, registration, enrollment agreement or contract).

Overview:

This feature is frequently referred to as "online" enrollment. Parents will have the ability to submit a "signup" to their school (usually an application, registration, enrollment agreement, or contract). School administrators will then have the ability to review, accept, waitlist, or decline signups. All accepted signups will be automatically transferred into the school's Curacubby platform.

Signups can be customized to the school's preferences and can be set up to charge a fee or fees (such as an application fee, enrollment fee, etc) and impose capacity limits. Schools can have multiple signups if needed.

Use Cases:

  • School Application: Parent submits an application with basic parent and student information (and sometimes parent/student questionnaire), with a fee, school accumulates applications, reviews applications, and decides which ones to accept and enroll. [See http://glmsoakland.curacubby.com/fst]
  • School Registration: Parent submits registration with basic parent and student information (usually including information such as additional contacts and medical information), with a fee (a registration/enrollment fee and/or payment for the class for which they are registering), students are considered registered once the submission is received (no school review process). May or may not have capacity limits imposed. May or may not have additional forms required (i.e. other enrollment forms). [See https://thejelpaso.curacubby.com/fst/register]
  • Aftercare/Camp Registration: Parent submits registration with basic parent and student information (usually including information such as additional contacts and medical information), with a fee (a deposit or full payment for the class(es) for which they are registering), students are considered registered once submission is received (no school review process). May or may not have capacity limits imposed. May or may not have additional forms required (i.e. other enrollment forms). [See https://kccrec.curacubby.com/fst/kasepspring2020]
  • School Enrollment Agreement/Contract: Parent submits contract with enrollment agreement/contract language, usually specifying schedule/grade/payment plan for upcoming school year with deposit or enrollment fee. Student is considered enrolled when agreement is submitted.  [See http://oakgroveclassical.curacubby.com/fst/register]
  • Other: Some schools use the signup tool for other cases, such as signing up to attend a school tour or open house, for purchasing hot lunches, financial aid applications, etc.
