How do I create and edit classrooms?

You can create classrooms to group students by physical classroom, age, or any way you want to organize students in Curacubby. Classrooms are used with attendance reports, tag reports, and for sending Reach Out messages to specific parents.

 To create a classroom:

  1. Open Curacubby and click on "School" under Settings.
  2. Click “Classrooms” to expand the classroom tab, then click “New Classroom.”
  3. Type the Classroom Name (i.e Preschool, Butterflies, Orange, etc.) and a capacity (optional).
  4. Check the “Active” box. This will help you track which classrooms are active and which ones are non-active.
  5. Add any tags needed for this classroom by clicking on the box and selecting from existing tags or click "+ New Tag" to create a new tag. (Please note: all students will be automatically tagged with their classroom name; you do not need to add the classroom name to the "Tags" section).
  6. Type a student's name to search for a student, then click on their name to add them to the classroom.  You can also scroll through the list of students and then click on their names to add them.
  7. Click “X” next to a student's name to remove a student.
  8. When you have finished adding students, click “Save” to save the classroom.
