How do I reset a parent's password?

If a parent is not receiving a reset password email when they request a reset password link, you can reset their password for them, either by providing them with a link or by setting a temporary password.

Before following the steps below, please make sure that the parent's email address listed in Curacubby is correct. Parents are always welcome to email support@curacubby.com for assistance with this as well.

To create a password reset link:

  1. Search for the parent's name in the Parent tab
  2. Click on the parent's name
  3. Click on the Profile tab
  4. Click "Reset User's Password" under their profile picture
  5. Copy the link and paste it into an email to send to the parent or click "Notify parent by email"

To set a temporary password:

  1. Search for the parent's name in the Parent tab
  2. Click on the parent's name
  3. Click on the Profile tab of their account
  4. Click "Edit User"
  5. Scroll down and toggle on "Set password (optional)"
  6. Enter the temporary password  (must be at least 8 characters and include one of the following special characters:  *,#,!,-,$,^ or ) ).
  7. Click "Update User"

How parents can update their password:

  1. Log into your Curacubby account
  2. Click your name in the top right corner of the page
  3. Click "Profile"
  4. Scroll down and type your new password in the "Enter new password" box
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Update"
