Classrooms

This article will have all you need to know about classrooms within Curacubby

To locate your classrooms within Curacubby:

  1. Click School under Settings
  2. Click the drop-down menu for classrooms using the (^)
    1. Once clicking the drop down menu, you will see any classrooms currently within your site, as well as create new classrooms

 

Guide to Creating and Editing Classrooms:

12 STEPS

1. Scroll down and click School

2. Click Classrooms

3. Click New Classroom

4. Type the name of your classroom

5. Indicate the campus for this classroom by clicking this box

6. Optional
Create a capacity for this classroom
(this will be the limit for the number of students that are able to be added)

7. Optional
Add additional tags that will automatically be added to the student profile once student is added to the classroom.
Note
Students added to a classroom will automatically receive a tag of the classroom name to their profile

8. Check this box to indicate this classroom as active
Note
This is for your reference in viewing which classrooms are inactive/active.

9. Click this box to select student(s) to add to this classroom.
You are able to search for the student name and select their name to add

10. Click Save

11. To edit your current classrooms,
Click the edit pencil

12. Make needed changes and click Save

TIP: 
When students are added to a classroom, a tag with the classroom name will automatically be added to their profile. (once a student is removed, the tag removes itself from the student profile)
This is beneficial in generating reports with parent/student information by classroom using tag reports.

How Do I Add or Remove Staff Members to a Classroom?

Staff members are added to a classroom through editing the staff member's account.

Click the "Select Some Options" box to add classrooms to the staff account. 

Once selecting classrooms and clicking save, the staff member will appear within the classroom settings:
