How to utilize tags

Meaning of tags and what they are used for

Tags are used in Curacubby to identify a student or set of students separate from the total number of students listed in Curacubby. 

We will utilize these tags to run simple reports, generate attendance reports and create classrooms. 

View student tags:

  1. Log into Curacubby
  2. Click the "Students" tab
  3. Find the desired student
  4. Click the student's name
  5. Click the "profile" tab
  6. View the current tags associated in the "Tags#" section

Add an existing tag to one student:

  1. Log into Curacubby
  2. Click the "Students" tab
  3. Find the desired student
  4. Click the student's name
  5. Click the "profile" tab
  6. Click "Edit Student"
  7. Find the "Tag list" section
  8. Click in the white space to populate the complete tag list dropdown
  9. Find and select the desired existing tag *(you may also begin to type in your requested tag)
  10. Click the desired tag
  11. Confirm the tag has been added to the Tag list 
  12. Click Save

Add a new tag to one student:

  1. Log into Curacubby
  2. Click the "Students" tab
  3. Find the desired student
  4. Click the student's name
  5. Click the "profile" tab
  6. Click "Edit Student"
  7. Find the "Tag list" section
  8. Click the [+] Add New button
  9. Enter your new tag in the text box
  10. Click Save

Add a tag to multiple students:

  1. Log into Curacubby
  2. Click the "School" page (located under the Settings tab)
  3. Click to expand the "Classrooms" section
  4. Click the "New Classroom" button
  5. Enter a classroom name
  6. Enter an existing tag by clicking in the white space OR add a new tag using the [+]Add New button
  7. Select the desired students you wish to associate this tag with
  8. Click Save

Remove a tag:

  1. Log into Curacubby
  2. Click the "Students" tab
  3. Find the desired student
  4. Click the student's name
  5. Click the "profile" tab
  6. Click "Edit Student"
  7. Find the "Tag list" section
  8. Locate the tag(s) you wish to remove
  9. Click the "x" location on the top right corner of the named tag
